Undue Influence: The state in which a person has been affected by the will of another person which led to that person to take an action that they would not normally do had they not been under the influence of another person.

Venue: The local area that a specific court proceeding takes place. For instance, the City, County, State, or Jurisdiction that a proceeding takes place in.

Verdict: The final decision that is made regarding a matter that has been heard by a jury.

Voir Dire: The term translates to: “speak the truth". In a legal proceeding it refers to the screening of a potential jury by a battery of interrogatory questions, that are directed to reveal any underlying prejudices, bias, or beliefs which may disqualify a potential juror from a legal matter.
